Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Salinas, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment and facility systems to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, solid problem-solving skills, and a commitment to workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical failures. Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics to perform required maintenance and service. Inspect gearboxes, motors, belts, pumps, and conveyers to identify wear and prevent breakdowns. Maintain clean, organized work areas and strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in tracking systems or work orders. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent;vocational training or mechanical certification preferred. Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic industrial electricity. Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in active physical environments.
