Starting at $25/hour

Schedule:

20-30 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8AM-1PM (Flexible) A historic residential building in Downtown San Diego is seeking an experienced Part-Time Building Maintenance Technician to assist with ongoing building maintenance, repairs, and apartment turnovers. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and skilled technician who enjoys working in a unique historic property environment. Responsibilities Perform general building maintenance and repairs Patch and paint walls and surfaces Assist with apartment room turnovers between residents Conduct minor plumbing repairs (faucets, drains, toilets, etc.) Perform minor electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, switches) Complete general repairs and preventative maintenance tasks Maintain clean and safe work areas Assist with other maintenance duties as needed Qualifications Previous building maintenance or handyman experience required Experience with patch and paint, general repairs, plumbing, and electrical work Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance work Position Details Part-time position: 15-30 hours per week Starting pay: $25 per hour (based on experience) Opportunity for consistent ongoing work If you have strong maintenance experience and take pride in keeping buildings in great condition, we encourage you to apply.
