We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and hands-on Maintenance Technician who can handle a wide range of repairs, work independently in the field, and communicate clearly through technology and daily work-order reporting. What You'll Be Doing Complete service requests and work orders in occupied and vacant units. Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and fixtures. Handle apartment unit turns and prepare units for new residents. Travel to different apartment communities throughout the Inland Empire and San Gabriel Valley. Diagnose maintenance issues and determine the appropriate repair or solution. Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Communicate job status, issues, and completion details to the office and property management team. Submit accurate daily work-order reports , including completed work, materials used, photos, and any issues requiring follow-up.
Types of Work Include Electrical:
Outlets, switches, fixtures, appliances, and basic electrical repairs.
Plumbing:
Clogs, faucets, fittings, leaks, and basic plumbing repairs.
Drywall:
Patching, repairs, and preparation.
Painting:
Interior and exterior touch-ups and unit preparation.
Carpentry:
Basic repairs, adjustments, and installation.
Appliances & Fixtures:
Replacement and basic troubleshooting.
HVAC:
Filter and thermostat replacement and basic maintenance.
Unit Turns:
General repairs and preparation of apartments for new residents. What We're Looking For 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance, construction, handyman work, apartment maintenance, or a related field. Experience working across multiple maintenance trades, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general repairs. Apartment, multifamily, or property management maintenance experience is preferred. Ability to work independently and complete assigned work efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and professionalism when working with tenants, property managers, and team members. Tech-savvy and comfortable using smartphones, apps, email, and digital work-order systems. Ability to accurately document completed work and submit daily work-order reports , including photos and job details. Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple work orders throughout the day. Requirements 2-3+ years of relevant hands-on maintenance, construction, or handyman experience. Valid California Driver's License. Clean driving record and reliable transportation. Comfortable traveling between apartment communities throughout the Inland Empire / San Gabriel Valley. Ability to use a smartphone and digital tools for work-order updates and reporting. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights. Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Ability to work in occupied and vacant apartment units and various indoor and outdoor environments.
