Job Description
We're building a garage door division and we need someone to build it with us. Fixxa is an all-trades contractor on the Central Coast. Two shops, one in SLO, one in Morro Bay. What you'll be doing Building our of garage division at Fixxa with other leadership. Service, install, and repair residential and commercial garage doors and openers Torsion and extension spring replacement, cable and drum work, track and panel repair Opener install, programming, troubleshooting, safety sensor work On-site assessments and estimates for repair and replacement Build the repair process — parts list, truck stock, pricing, checklists, warranty terms Train the next techs as the division grows Pay and ownership 40-55 per hour equity in Fixxa. Requirements 5+ years garage door repair, commercial, residential, roll up, docking, levelers. Valid CA driver's license, clean record Able to lift 75 lbs, work on ladders, work in attics and garages Reliable, on time, talks straight with customers Helpful, not required: opener manufacturer certification (LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie), IDA training, commercial and rolling steel experience, low voltage or electrical background.
