Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment across our operations. Your expertise will ensure the continuous functionality of essential machinery, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Install, calibrate, and service HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and various appliances in compliance with safety standards. Conduct appliance repair and service technician tasks efficiently while minimizing downtime. Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site maintenance visits and emergency repairs. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for documentation and reporting. Assist with the installation of new mechanical systems and equipment as required. Support maintenance operations by managing MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) supplies inventory. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems involving construction experience or specialized equipment. Lead or assist in training junior technicians or apprentices in proper maintenance procedures. Experience Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints related to HVAC & appliance technology. Experience operating HVAC equipment, air conditioning units, kitchen appliances, and related mechanical systems. Knowledge of construction practices related to mechanical system installation or upgrades is preferred. Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures in a commercial or industrial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or internal stakeholders.
