Job Description

Commercial Door Service Technician

Description

We are seeking driven and experienced Service Technicians to join our team. Service Technicians play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while servicing, repairing, and installing commercial doors, gates, and dock equipment.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and wants to build a long-term career with a growing company.

Pay:

$28.00 - $37.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, starting between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM

Typical Work Week:

40 hours

Additional Availability:

Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required based on customer needs and project demands.

Job Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair commercial doors, gates, and dock equipment

Diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs

Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections

Read blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals

Provide excellent customer service and communicate repair recommendations

Complete service reports and maintain parts and tool inventory

Follow all safety policies and procedures

2+ years of commercial door, gate, or dock equipment service experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints

Experience using hand tools, power tools, and lift equipment

Strong communication and customer service skills

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Comfortable working at heights

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday

Must have (or be able to obtain within a few weeks) a Real ID or Valid Passport for accessing government facilities

Associate Requirements

HS Diploma or GED

Background Check

Able to Lift 75 pounds

Drug Test

Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $28.00 - $37.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
