Reporting Relationships Reports to: Facilities Manager Interfaces with : Production, Shipping and Receiving, Quality, Purchasing Authority The Maintenance Technician has the authority to: Remove equipment from service when a condition is identified that presents a safety hazard or risk to product quality, and notify the Facilities Manager. Operate a forklift and other powered industrial equipment within the limits of current certification. Request maintenance supplies and consumables through the Facilities Manager. Responsibilities The Maintenance Technician has the responsibility to: Perform routine facility maintenance, including light repairs, cleaning, and minor equipment upkeep. Operate a forklift to move materials, pallets, and equipment safely within the facility. Conduct basic equipment inspections and report issues to the Facilities Manager. Assist with the completion of scheduled preventive maintenance tasks. Record completed work and maintenance activity as directed, including entries in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) where applicable. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety protocols and procedures, and use required personal protective equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Performance Measurements The Maintenance Technician will be deemed to be performing in a satisfactory manner when the following is accomplished: Assigned preventive maintenance tasks are completed on schedule. Equipment issues are reported promptly and accurately. Work areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition. Forklift and material handling operations are performed without incident. Safety protocols are followed with no recordable violations. Attendance and punctuality standards are met. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Basic mechanical aptitude; minimal hands-on maintenance experience acceptable. Valid forklift certification or demonstrated forklift operating experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and to stand or walk for extended periods. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Preferred Qualifications Experience with basic hand and power tools. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or work order software. Familiarity with workplace safety standards (OSHA basics).

Located In Stockton Monday- Friday Starting Rate:
$19 8am Start Time Must have Valid CA ID/Driver's License.Basic Function:
The Maintenance Technician supports the day-to-day upkeep of the facility and production equipment. This is an entry-level to intermediate position suited to an individual with basic hands-on maintenance skills and prior forklift operating experience.
