Overview Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Maintenance Staff member, where your skills will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently! This vital role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across residential and commercial properties, ensuring safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. You'll be at the forefront of maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting building systems with enthusiasm and expertise. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Perform electrical repairs using schematics, troubleshoot electrical issues with tools like ohmmeters, and handle wiring tasks safely. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control automated equipment processes. Carry out mechanical repairs including welding, plumbing, HVAC servicing, and general facilities maintenance. Support residential painting projects, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety standards. Supervise or assist with maintenance teams on various projects, providing leadership and guidance to ensure timely completion. Maintain accurate records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), including work orders and asset histories. Read technical schematics and diagrams to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or management while providing excellent customer service throughout every interaction. Requirements Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance within manufacturing or residential environments. Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and use testing tools like ohmmeters effectively. Mechanical skills with experience in welding, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general repair work. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and troubleshooting automated systems. Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings confidently. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to guide maintenance teams efficiently. Knowledge of CMMS software for tracking work orders and asset management. Hands-on experience with residential painting projects is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.
