Commercial Building Fire Cleanup
Job Description
KML Services is hiring for commercial building fire cleanup and disaster recovery work in Tracy, California. We are building crews for temporary disaster recovery operations and seeking qualified, motivated applicants for multiple positions. •> https://kml-services.vercel.app/ Scope of Work Work may include commercial building fire cleanup, ash and debris removal, damaged-material removal, general labor, shoveling, dust control, water truck operations, traffic control, equipment operation, debris loading, selective demolition, make-safe activities, fencing and sandbag installation, minor grading, material handling, site cleanup, and other related disaster-recovery activities. Specific duties will vary by position and project needs. Employees will perform only work for which they are properly trained, qualified, and authorized. Experience and Qualifications Previous demolition, construction, environmental remediation, disaster recovery, building fire cleanup, industrial cleanup, or heavy-equipment experience is preferred but not required for all positions. Equipment operators, foremen/supervisors, and safety personnel must have appropriate experience, training, and qualifications for the position being considered. 40-HourHAZWOPER A
40-HourHAZWOPER
certification is required for deployment on this project. Preference will be given to applicants who already have a current 40-HourHAZWOPER
certification or who previously completed the 40-hour course and need a refresher. Applicants who do not currently have a 40-HourHAZWOPER
certification may still apply. KML Services may provide or coordinate training for selected applicants based on staffing and project needs. Training is not guaranteed. Applicants should be prepared to provide documentation of all training and certifications.Pay Range General Laborers:
$20•30 per hourEquipment Operators:
$25•55 per hourSafety Personnel:
$28•40 per hourForemen/Supervisors:
$35•55 per hour Final pay will be determined by the position offered, experience, qualifications, certifications, project requirements, and applicable wage requirements. Work Schedule Applicants should have flexible availability. Overtime, weekends, and extended work schedules may be required depending on project and operational needs. Actual schedules and hours are subject to change and are not guaranteed. Important — Temporary, Project-Based Work This is temporary, project-based disaster recovery work. Project duration, individual assignments, schedules, and work hours are not guaranteed . Disaster recovery needs can change rapidly, and an assignment expected to last for an extended period may be shortened or end after only a few days. Applicants should not leave existing employment based solely on an estimated project duration or anticipated number of work hours. Any estimate of project duration, schedule, or anticipated work hours provided during recruiting or mobilization is an estimate only and does not guarantee employment for that period. The checklist will be used to review each applicant's preferred position, experience, equipment experience, certifications, training, and availability. Selected candidates may then proceed through KML Services' required HR, hiring, verification, training, and onboarding process.
