Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled, reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at a 105-unit residential community in Turlock. This is a full-time position. You'll handle everything from service requests and unit turns to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs — working independently while staying in close communication with management. If you have solid apartment maintenance experience and a track record of dependability, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally Prepare vacant units for move-in — turns, patching, painting, and repairs Perform preventive maintenance and routine property inspections Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Maintain clean, safe common areas and shared spaces Repair doors, locks, cabinets, fixtures, and hardware Coordinate with vendors for specialized or larger-scope work Track and maintain inventory of supplies and materials Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls Pick up materials and parts as needed to keep work moving
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone with experience and a verifiable work history. Minimum 3 years of hands-on apartment or residential maintenance experience Demonstrated ability to diagnose/repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems independently Experience completing unit turns — patching, painting, repairs, and make-ready work Reliable and punctual — communicate proactively Valid California driver's license and reliable personal transportation Able to manage multiple work orders and prioritize effectively Professional and respectful in all interactions with residents and team members Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Employment contingent upon successful background check and employment verification
