Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and mechanical systems maintenance. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation. Diagnose and repair appliances, including commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC/R systems, and refrigeration units using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances and mechanical components according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues utilizing schematics, technical documentation, and diagnostic tools. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment between sites as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and reporting. Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs efficiently while minimizing operational disruptions. Assist with construction projects or upgrades related to mechanical systems as required. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal or external client needs promptly and professionally. Lead or mentor junior technicians when necessary to promote best practices in maintenance procedures. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs. Knowledge of HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and ventilation systems. Experience with kitchen equipment maintenance and appliance installation in commercial settings. Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures across diverse mechanical systems. Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills. Leadership qualities or prior supervisory experience are a plus. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely.
