Maintenance Technican Hire Up Staffing Services - 1.5 Vista, CA Job Details $28.90 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Electrical maintenance Technical troubleshooting support Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Hire up Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing operation in Vista, CA. You'll play an important role in keeping day-to-day operations moving by maintaining the facility, supporting production, and quickly addressing maintenance needs. What You'll Do Inspect, maintain, and repair building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, doors, and general facility infrastructure Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and address repairs before they become larger problems Troubleshoot facility and equipment issues and respond quickly to maintenance requests Help keep manufacturing and production areas operating safely and efficiently Assist with equipment installations, setups, changeovers, upgrades, and improvements Monitor important facility systems and utilities, including temperature-controlled areas and other critical environments Work closely with production teams to complete maintenance without unnecessarily interrupting operations Maintain accurate work orders, service records, maintenance logs, and other required documentation Support inspections, audits, and regulatory requirements Follow established GMP, FDA, ISO, quality, and safety standards Help identify recurring maintenance issues and recommend solutions to improve equipment reliability Assist with calibration and validation activities involving facility systems Participate in troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized maintenance or repairs are needed Monitor contractor work to ensure site safety and company standards are followed Contribute ideas and improvements that help make the facility safer, more reliable, and more efficient What We're Looking For 3+ years of facilities or industrial maintenance experience Background in a manufacturing or regulated environment is strongly preferred Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems Experience working around cleanrooms, controlled environments, or critical utilities is a plus High school diploma or GED required Technical training, certification, or an associate degree is preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working independently while also partnering with production and facilities teams Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail If you're an experienced Maintenance Technician ready for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!
