Job Description

Cottonwood Residential is hiring! We are looking for an entry-level Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at 805 Riverfront Apartments. Apply today! Qualifications & Required Experience of an Apartment Maintenance Technician Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures. Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and ability to navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance. Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and ability to navigate difficult terrain and access small areas. Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends. Ability to work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following Company standards. Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry work related to household, building, and property grounds repairs. EPA certification Type II or Universal is a plus. Considerable experience troubleshooting HVAC is a plus. CPO certification is a plus. Valid Driver's License is required.
