Commercial Door & Dock Foreman / Lead Technician InSev Tech Yorba Linda, CA Job Details Full-time $27 - $40 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Tools provided Qualifications Fabrication Outdoor work experience Driver's License Blueprint reading Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description InSev Tech is hiring an experienced Commercial Door & Dock Foreman for immediate placement. We are looking for a working foreman who can lead crews in the field while performing commercial and industrial door, dock, gate, and access-equipment installation and service. This is not a supervisory-only position. The Foreman will work alongside the crew, take ownership of jobs from arrival through completion, communicate with customers and management, and ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and efficiently. Responsibilities Lead 2-3 person field crews Commercial door and dock installation, repair, and service Rolling steel and sectional door work Dock levelers, restraints, seals, shelters, and related equipment Door operators, controls, photo eyes, safety devices, and basic electrical troubleshooting Welding, fabrication, anchoring, and field modifications as required Diagnose equipment failures and determine repair requirements Read work orders, plans, measurements, and manufacturer documentation Coordinate jobsite activities with customers and facility personnel Document completed work, deficiencies, parts needed, and recommendations Submit clear job notes and required photos Maintain company tools, equipment, and assigned vehicle Train and direct crew members Maintain professional jobsite standards and enforce safe work practices What We're Looking For Prior commercial/industrial door and dock experience strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to lead field crews Mechanical troubleshooting ability Welding/fabrication experience preferred Electrical/low-voltage troubleshooting experience preferred Ability to independently manage a service call or installation Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to lift, climb ladders, work with tools, and perform physical field work Willingness to work throughout Southern California Emergency/after-hours availability when required We are looking for someone who can be given a job, a crew, and a scope of work and be trusted to execute it from start to finish. Pay:
$27.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 50.0 per week
