Job Description Entry-level role responsible for supporting the general upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of the manufacturing plant and its facility systems under the direction of senior maintenance staff, while demonstrating standard food safety practices. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with the set up and disassembly of production equipment for daily startup for Production use.
• Perform routine facility maintenance tasks such as replacing light fixtures and bulbs, patching and painting walls, basic plumbing repairs, unclogging drains, adjusting doors and dock levelers, and general building upkeep
• Support scheduled preventative maintenance on facility systems including HVAC units, air compressors, boilers, exhaust fans, and lighting
• Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of plant utilities such as water, air, steam, and refrigeration lines
• Perform general grounds and building upkeep including minor carpentry, sealing, and maintaining floors, walls, ceilings, and drains in production and non-production areas
• Respond to basic facility work requests and escalate complex mechanical or electrical issues to senior maintenance staff
• Assist with the installation, relocation, and repair of facility fixtures and equipment as directed
• Documentation of work performed using CMMS Work Order system and electronic tablets
• Learn to set up and disassemble production equipment and develop proficiency with plant and facility systems under supervision
• Document use of spare parts for historical and inventory records
• Maintain tools in good working order and sanitize as necessary prior to and after use in food contact areas Safety Requirements

Pay:

$24.00 - $37.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
