Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, where your expertise in building systems and facilities maintenance will ensure our property operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This vital role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building interior systems to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Your proactive approach and technical skills will contribute to a welcoming environment that guests love and staff rely on. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, and facilities infrastructure to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general building interior maintenance to uphold the property's appearance and safety standards. Use hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues accurately. Maintain facilities equipment including boilers, pumps, motors, lighting fixtures, and plumbing systems with precision repairs. Supervise or assist with maintenance projects ensuring safety protocols are followed; coordinate with vendors or contractors when necessary. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management. Skills Extensive mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical work, plumbing system maintenance and repair, HVAC system troubleshooting and repair. Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, hand tools, electrical equipment repair devices like ohmmeters, and maintenance painting techniques. Strong understanding of facilities maintenance operations including building interior upkeep, carpentry, welding, and use of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork. Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in maintenance teams or projects. Ability to interpret technical schematics and troubleshoot electrical equipment efficiently. Experience with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO), manufacturing environments or residential building maintenance is highly desirable. $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
