In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial overhead doors, gates, and related systems. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' facilities operate smoothly and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. Duties Install, repair, and maintain commercial overhead doors, gates, and related hardware using hand tools and power tools Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute installation and repair tasks Perform electrical work related to door operators, sensors, and safety devices in compliance with building codes Conduct glass installation, fixture mounting, cabinet installation, and trim carpentry as needed for door systems Fabricate metal components using welding techniques or metal stud framing to meet project specifications Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations while maintaining high quality standards Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about project status and maintenance needs Qualifications Proven experience in door installation, door hanging, or construction site work with a focus on commercial systems Strong mechanical knowledge including mechanical repair, fabrication, and interpreting technical drawings Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools effectively Knowledge of glass installation, locksmithing basics, caulking techniques, and fixture or cabinet installation is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on elevated or confined spaces as required Construction experience with carpentry skills such as frame carpentry or trim carpentry preferred Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward client interactions Familiarity with building code compliance standards relevant to overhead doors and gates Join our team to become part of a company that values craftsmanship, safety, and outstanding service.
