WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of mill or packaging and production machines and other facility equipment.
  • Perform welding and fabrication for repairs on designated equipment and facilities.
  • Install, maintain, and repair various electrical control circuits, including single-phase and 3-phase systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC control production machines.
  • Read and interpret schematics and equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs of the building's interior and exterior, including minor plumbing, carpentry, interior lighting such as ballasts and lamps, interior fans, etc.
  • Perform minor routine maintenance on HVAC (changing air filters, etc.)
  • Maintains record to ensure accountability of time, parts, and repairs to meet regulatory compliance and budget constraints.
  • Communicate with management and other maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs.
  • Comply with company safety policies and maintain clean and orderly work areas, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures, including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.
WHAT WE NEED MUST-HAVES
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Driver's License in good standing.
  • Operation of powered industrial equipment.
  • Occasional travel to other facilities within the United States.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of employees, whether individually or in a team environment.
  • Effectively communicate questions, problems, and reports to co-workers, supervisory, and management personnel.
  • Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed.
NICE-TO-HAVES
Formal industrial maintenance training Maintenance experience in food manufacturing Two + years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, including mechanical, electrical, and
