Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs on a wide range of equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to keep our operations running smoothly and reliably. Duties Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and kitchen equipment using schematics and technical manuals Install new appliances and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer specifications Conduct inspections of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and building infrastructure to identify potential issues early Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or maintenance tasks as needed Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and service manuals to diagnose problems accurately Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspection reports Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair and mechanical systems repair Hands-on experience with HVAC & appliance technology, refrigeration systems, and kitchen equipment maintenance Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting procedures for HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems Familiarity with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices in industrial or commercial settings Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is a plus Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or lead small teams when necessary Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients during service calls Join us in maintaining excellence! Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
