Full-Time, Non-Exempt Schedule:
Approximately 40-50 hours per week, with flexibility to work weekends when necessary
Reports To:
Director of Facilities and Construction / Assistant Maintenance Manager Position Overview Aldin Associates and Savin Brands are seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our company-owned, operated, and leased locations. This position is responsible for completing general facility repairs, inspecting building systems and equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and helping ensure our locations remain safe and operational. The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, and comfortable traveling between locations to address a variety of maintenance needs. Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and building systems. Inspect equipment and systems to identify maintenance needs, malfunctions, or safety concerns. Conduct preventive maintenance to help ensure systems continue operating properly. Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs. Assist with repairs to gas pumps and related equipment, as qualified and appropriate. Coordinate with outside contractors when repairs require specialized training or licensing. Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies. Respond to maintenance-related emails and service requests in a timely manner. Transport supplies, move boxes, accept deliveries, and deliver materials to company locations. Provide coverage for the Maintenance Manager during vacations or other absences. Travel between company locations, including locations that may be a significant driving distance away. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous maintenance experience preferred. Experience with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or carpentry work is strongly preferred. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and facility repairs. Ability to read blueprints, building plans, instructions, and equipment-repair manuals. Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent time-management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize service requests, and follow instructions. Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record required. Ability and willingness to travel between company locations. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds; heavier items may require assistance or appropriate equipment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl into confined or awkward spaces. Ability to safely perform physical maintenance work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.
Compensation and Benefits Pay:
$25.00-$28.00/ hr.
