- Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production machinery Maintain and repair equipment including: o Compressors, engines, and motors o Pneumatic tools and systems o Conveyor systems and automated production lines o Cranes and lifting equipment o Forklifts and material handling equipment Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential failures before they occur Respond quickly to equipment downtime and perform root cause analysis to minimize recurrence Support installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation Follow all safety protocols, including working with high-voltage battery manufacturing systems and hazardous materials Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve equipment reliability and performance Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (battery, chemical, automotive, or similar preferred) Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience working with industrial equipment, automation, or high-speed production lines Experience working in sheet metals with transfer press machinery is strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Experience with CMMS systems for tracking maintenance activities preferred Forklift and/or crane certification is a plus Skills & Competencies Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability Attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and in a team environment Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and respond to emergency breakdowns Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, TPM experience a plus) A bit about us:•We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support operations within our industrial manufacturing facility.
