Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Repair Technician to support our manufacturing operations by performing electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant facilities, equipment, tools, and machinery. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Diagnose equipment malfunctions and complete repairs in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment using blueprints, schematics, manuals, and drawings. Perform equipment modifications as directed by Manufacturing Engineering and Management. Operate and maintain shop equipment, including: Lathe machines (turning raw stock into precise cylindrical features such as faces, bores, threads, and tapers) Milling machines (cutting slots, pockets, contours, and surfaces) Perform machine alignment checks and corrective adjustments. Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety procedures. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Technical or Trade School education preferred 4-6 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, mechanical, or electrical repair within a manufacturing environment Skills & Competencies Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and hydraulic diagrams Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Basic electrical wiring, plumbing, and welding experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail Work Environment Manufacturing facility setting Requires standing, bending, lifting, and working around machinery Indoor industrial environment #HART-1
