at State of Delaware in Bear, Delaware, United States Job Description This position is responsible for the daily cleaning, upkeep and repair of all park buildings, grounds, and equipment at Lums Pond State Park including restrooms, fields, roadways, parking lots, picnic areas, playgrounds and trails. The incumbent will report to the Park Maintenance Supervisor and may be asked to help supervise and train casual seasonal maintenance employees and provide guidance to park volunteers working on maintenance projects. JOB REQUIREMENTS

for Physical Plant Maintenance/Trades Mechanic III Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Six months experience in operating and maintaining a variety of equipment, hand and power tools used in trades fields such as plumbing, carpentry, painting or HVAC. Six months experience in performing work in a variety of trades fields such as plumbing, carpentry, painting or HVAC. Six months experience in record keeping. Knowledge of interpreting blueprints, schematics or technical drawings. Knowledge of estimating cost, time and materials for projects.
