Position Overview IMT Gulfstream | Boynton Beach, FL IMT Residential is looking for a Service Technician (Maintenance Technician) to join the team at IMT Gulfstream, our 456-unit community in Boynton Beach, FL! As a Service Technician, you'll play an important role in keeping our community safe, comfortable, and looking its best while delivering the exceptional service our residents deserve. What You'll Do
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues throughout apartment homes, common areas, and the community, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools, and more
- Complete apartment turns efficiently and to IMT's high standards, ensuring homes are ready for new residents
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance to keep the community operating smoothly
- Maintain property grounds and common areas to create the curb appeal that makes a great first impression
- Provide responsive, professional customer service while interacting with residents and addressing their maintenance needs
- Use your IMT-provided tools and technology to complete work efficiently and effectively
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with the Service Team to respond to maintenance emergencies
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Service Manager or Community Manager What We're Looking For
- Previous residential property management, hotel, or equivalent maintenance experience
- Strong hands-on skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, pools, and general maintenance
- EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly preferred; CPO certification is a plus
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to continue learning and developing your skills
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable learning and using technology, including Outlook and SuiteSpot
- Ability to work independently while also being a dependable member of the Service Team
- Availability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
