Richman Property Services, Inc. (RPS) is currently seeking a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our growing team in Central Florida!

Floating Maintenance Technician Location:
Supports RPS properties throughout
Tampa Bay Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. 40 hours per week, full-time, includes weekend on-call rotation. Travel is reimbursed at the federal mileage rate and may at times include overnight travel (costs paid by RPS).
Key Requirements:
EPA 608 Type I & II or EPA Universal is a very strong requirement for this position. If you do not possess your EPA Certification but have the right skills, experience, and drive, we may consider sponsoring (and paying) for your EPA Certification within your first 75 days on the job! Ability to work independently in multi-site or larger properties and within a team environment, with the ability to travel to properties in the assigned region Valid/Active Driver's License (verified during background process)

Competitive base hourly pay, with automatic hourly pay increases every quarter (every 3 months) following your initial 90 days of service Monthly personal cell phone allowance Federal mileage reimbursement for travel to properties outside of your "home" base Eligibility to participate in the annual discretionary year-end bonus program Daytime schedules, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a 30 or 60-minute unpaid lunch break daily, plus weekend rotation schedule Full-time Employee benefits and programs for all full-time RPS Employees, including paid Sick-Time, Vacation, and Holidays, and much more! Responsibilities:
Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines Manage service requests and ensure timely completion Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development Assist in the property preventative maintenance plan Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience, or Groundskeeper experience Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Skills & Certifications:
EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred Valid Driver's License required Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
