This role is essential in ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of industrial equipment and systems within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, along with a strong background in troubleshooting and repairs. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to operational excellence through proactive maintenance, precise diagnostics, and effective problem-solving. The successful applicant will play a vital role in maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall production goals. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage circuits; conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs. Repair and maintain industrial machinery using welding techniques such as stick welding; utilize mechanical knowledge for equipment overhaul or replacement. Operate field service equipment including scissor lifts and other elevated work platforms safely to access hard-to-reach components. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting guides to facilitate accurate repairs. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and plan future tasks. Conduct calibration of precision instruments to ensure measurement accuracy for quality control. Support the installation of new equipment by following technical specifications and safety protocols. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting efforts involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation systems, hydraulics, and other control devices. Maintain compliance with safety standards related to high voltage systems, electrical maintenance, and field service operations. Skills Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Strong electrical diagnostics skills including troubleshooting electrical systems with voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics reading. Practical knowledge of HVAC/R systems along with experience operating scissor lifts safely. Skilled in welding techniques such as stick welding; familiar with equipment repair procedures. Ability to interpret technical drawings including schematics for electrical systems and blueprints for mechanical components. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic systems troubleshooting; ability to analyze system diagrams effectively. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation troubleshooting in industrial environments. Familiarity with industrial electrician practices including high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical work. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues quickly and accurately. Excellent customer service orientation when interacting with internal teams or external vendors during field service activities. Mechanical aptitude combined with a thorough understanding of industrial mechanics for effective maintenance solutions. Ability to read engineering schematics confidently; skilled in using precision measuring instruments for quality assurance.
