2nd Shift About the Position We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician/Skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong industrial electrical background and experience in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment while supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical production equipment. Monitor and maintain equipment to support production goals, safety, and quality standards. Troubleshoot PLCs, motor controls, electrical systems, and production equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Maintain and repair extruders, ovens, vacuums, chillers, cooling towers, and related equipment. Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. Repair and install electrical conduit, lighting, heaters, fans, wiring, and other electrical components. Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs in a timely manner. Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements. Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to identify and resolve equipment issues. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications 5-8 years of industrial maintenance experience required. Strong industrial electrical background. Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred. Experience with PLC and motor controls preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and respond to production maintenance needs. High School Diploma/GED required. Journeyman Electrician license or PLC certification is a plus. Tools & Physical Requirements Candidates are required to provide and maintain their own tools necessary to perform the job. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, humidity, electrical equipment, moving machinery, and chemicals. Overtime may be required as needed. #INDSW
