Job Description
Maintenance Technician | Full-Time The Oaks on The Lake 145 Town Center Blvd, Clermont, FL 34714 Epoch Residential is looking for a dependable, hands on Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping our apartment community, homes, and amenities safe, clean, and operating at their best while providing excellent service to our residents. If you take pride in your work, enjoy solving problems, and have strong HVAC and general maintenance skills, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Complete maintenance and repair requests for apartments and common areas Perform apartment turns, including caulking, appliance and plumbing checks, lock changes, and general repairs Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other building systems Perform preventive maintenance on buildings, equipment, HVAC systems, irrigation, roofs, exteriors, and amenities Maintain grounds and common areas, including trash pickup, cleaning, and pressure washing Maintain and test smoke detectors, fire safety equipment, and other life-safety systems Maintain and repair irrigation systems as needed Assist with pool maintenance, including testing water, cleaning, and monitoring equipment Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and the maintenance shop Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in the on-call rotation Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and office team to provide excellent resident service Assist at other Epoch properties or with other operational needs as needed What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent HVAC Certification - Type I & II minimum required Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance Strong general maintenance skills, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair Own tools and A/C gauges necessary to perform technical maintenance work Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond appropriately to urgent situations Ability to work independently while also being a team player Professional, dependable, and organized with good judgment Ability to follow detailed instructions and company policies Schedule & On-Call This is a full-time position with a regular work schedule. Because apartment communities operate every day, flexibility is required, including the ability to work weekends or additional hours when needed. Participation in a scheduled emergency on-call rotation is required. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position. The ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, reach, lift, carry, push/pull, and perform general maintenance tasks is required. The position may require lifting up to 50 lbs. and pushing/pulling heavier equipment.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
