In this energized role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment and systems to keep our environment running efficiently. Your mechanical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and proactive approach will contribute to a safe, reliable, and productive workplace. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks with precision, ensuring all work meets safety standards and quality expectations. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility maintenance when needed. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or installations to ensure timely completion. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system updates for accountability and future reference. Qualifications Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or general equipment maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently. Service technician experience is highly desirable; familiarity with schematics is essential for diagnosing issues accurately. Knowledge of HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration equipment is required. Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints confidently. Construction experience or familiarity with building maintenance projects is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or lead small teams effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude toward maintenance challenges.
