Experienced Glass Service Technician - Windows & Doors Lemon Bay Glass & Mirror , a premier glass company serving Englewood and the surrounding areas, is seeking an experienced Glass Service Technician specializing in window, door, and glass repair. This is not an entry-level position . We are looking for someone with hands-on experience working with glass who is comfortable removing, handling, deglazing, re-glazing, and replacing glass in existing window and door systems. Responsibilities Remove and replace glass in windows, doors, transoms, and other existing systems Deglaze and re-glaze residential windows and doors Replace insulated glass units (IGUs), laminated glass, and single-pane glass Replace glass inserts in entry doors Diagnose and repair window and door issues Replace window balances, hardware, locks, and other components Replace sliding glass door rollers and related hardware Install track caps and service existing sliding glass door tracks Adjust, lubricate, and repair sliding glass doors Weatherproof and seal windows and sliding glass doors Identify existing conditions and determine the appropriate repair method Safely handle and transport glass and related materials Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional glass installation/service experience required Strong experience with deglazing and re-glazing existing windows and doors Knowledge of residential window, door, and sliding glass door systems Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills Proficient with hand and power tools Able to safely handle and install heavy glass Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality workmanship Professional appearance and excellent customer-service skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Background check may be required What We Offer 100% company-paid medical insurance for the employee 401(k) with company match Profit sharing Comprehensive health insurance Paid holidays Paid vacation/PTO Employee discounts Opportunities for advancement Stable, year-round, full-time employment We're looking for an experienced technician who understands that service work requires more than replacing parts—it requires knowing how to diagnose the problem, work safely with existing glass and framing systems, and complete repairs correctly.
