Job Responsibilities:
Complete repairs and perform preventative maintenance on an organized schedule to keep the hotel in utmost shape. Adhere to brand, health department, safety and OSHA standards. Oversee subcontractors when needed. Respond to guest needs promptly to provide the best guest experience possible.
Skill Requirements:
Ability to maintain inventory and supplies while following a budget, janitorial skills, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and basic carpentry.
Physical Requirements:
Physical labor including but not limited to, grasping, lifting, bending, squatting, twisting, standing, sitting, walking, and reaching over head, repetitive motions, ladder usage, writing, listening ability, visual acuity, communication and good speaking skills. Must be able to physically lift, push or pull a minimum of 50 lbs. consistently without assistance.
Education:
Minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
Experience:
Experience as a hotel Maintenance Technician is preferred or comparable maintenance experience in an establishment such as an apartment complex or office building.
Licenses/Certifications:
Pool operation certification will be required; certification can be obtained after hire as required by brand or state.
