MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain the hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities, using hand and power tools. Notify management with concerning needs for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. Maintains a clean and safe pool area. Certified Pool technician designation desired. Maintains quality of appearance of interior and exterior of hotel. Responds to guest requests for service according to company policy. Repairs carpet, laminate, sheetrock, locks, and doors of hotel. Pool chemicals/cleaning. Work the preventative maintenance schedule as needed. Lawn care/beach grooming as needed. Event set up. Keeps the interior and exterior of the hotel looking beautiful for our guests. Job Requirements Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit. Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team. Must have a drivers license with a clean record. Able to lift at least 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds at times. Must meet grooming standards. We are a drug free workplace. Prior hotel maintenance engineer experience preferred. Open Availability, Days, Weekends, Holidays. Looking to fill the position asap.
