This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and operate efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including plumbing knowledge, electrical experience, and general handyman skills. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment within the facility. Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, utilizing tools such as an ohmmeter for diagnostics. Execute welding tasks as needed for structural repairs or modifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and visitors regarding maintenance concerns. Supervise maintenance staff as required, offering leadership and guidance on best practices. Assist in residential painting projects to enhance the appearance of facilities. Read and interpret schematics to facilitate repairs and installations. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Electrical experience is essential; familiarity with programmable logic controllers is preferred. Ability to read and understand schematics for effective problem-solving. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
