From $17.00 per hour Job description: Maintenance Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on zoo facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment for both animals and visitors. Ability to do handy work like carpentry, electrical, welding, and plumbing and operate standard farm equipment. General maintenance and labor such as mowing/trimming/landscaping lawn and garden, minor pool care, and taking trash to the dump as needed. Able to perform sustained work of a physical nature may require heavy lifting with a minimum of 50 pounds

Prerequisites:

Must be able to complete daily tasks in a timely fashion with minimal supervision once trained and keep accurate daily records. Must be physically fit and active, able to lift 50 pounds comfortably and be able to work in all types of weather. Must have the ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, lift, stoop, squat, kneel, push, pull, and climb for prolonged periods of time. Must possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and a valid driver's license. Must maintain a non-smoking/vaping work environment. Weekend and holidays are required.
