Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring surfaces in commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality service. Duties Perform routine floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Buff and polish hard surface floors to maintain their shine and longevity. Execute custodial duties in accordance with established cleaning schedules and protocols. Ensure compliance with environmental services standards while using cleaning products and equipment. Inspect floors regularly for damage or wear, reporting any issues to management for timely resolution. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored properly and in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively. Experience Previous experience in floor care or custodial services is preferred but not required. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus. Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques and environmental services standards is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks thoroughly and efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
