The Maintenance Technician ensures the continuous safety, cleanliness and operational efficiency of our facility, machinery and building fixtures. This hands-on role conducts routine inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and general facility upkeep. Working closely with production teams and management, the technician proactively addresses maintenance needs to minimize downtime and support a safe, high-performing work environment.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, repair and service machinery including lasers, press brakes, punch press, welding units and more as requested. Review and update as needed scheduled preventative maintenance procedures and documents. Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance, inspections, repairs, and work orders as required. Perform routine building and warehouse maintenance, repairs, and upkeep. Inspect buildings, warehouse areas, doors, docks, walls, ceilings, floors, lighting, fixtures, and other facility components for damage or maintenance needs. Perform basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical fixtures, drywall, painting, carpentry, hardware, doors, locks, and other building components within the employee's qualifications and applicable requirements.
Qualifications:
Ability to troubleshoot routine building and facility maintenance issues. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general mechanical repairs. Ability to read and follow instructions, maintenance procedures, and safety requirements. Ability to prioritize work orders and respond to facility issues in a timely manner. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to communicate maintenance needs and completed work to management. #LSM125
