Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a dependable and skilled Stone Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering and installing custom stone products, including granite, quartz, marble, quartzite, and other solid surface materials for residential and commercial projects. This role requires excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will take pride in producing high-quality installations, maintaining a professional attitude when interacting with customers, and working collaboratively with team members to ensure every project is completed on time and to the highest standards. Duties Install granite, marble, quartz, and other stone countertops. Load, unload, transport, and safely handle stone materials. Complete field seams, sink cutouts, cooktop cutouts, and final adjustments. Ensure countertops are level, secure, and installed to company quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Skills Experience installing granite, marble, quartz, porcelain, and other stone surfaces. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and job specifications. Skilled in measuring, leveling, and fitting countertops. Experience with seam setting, epoxy, polishing, and finishing techniques. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, grinders, polishers, and installation equipment. Ability to safely lift and move heavy stone materials. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred Qualifications Previous experience installing granite, marble, quartz, or other stone countertops is required. Knowledge of countertop installation techniques and industry best practices. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely. Experience using hand and power tools related to countertop installation. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Dependable with a strong work ethic. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
