Suntree UMC Part-time:
30-32 hours per week (5 days per week) (8am-2pm) Schedule can be determined based on availability.Salary range:
$18- $20 per hour.Overview:
Lead Facility Tech is a maintenance / operations role responsible for assisting in leading facility teams, ensuring facility systems run efficiently, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.Core Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Assists in supervising and mentoring facility technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring high-quality work completion.Maintenance Oversight:
Perform and oversee preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on building systems, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and environmental services equipment.Operational Efficiency:
Assist in coordinating work orders, managing schedules, and maintaining organized maintenance programs.Specialized Skills:
HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, landscaping, irrigation, pest/disease management.Additional Responsibilities:
Performs general, routine custodial duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies. Empties trash receptacles, disposes of trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal. Works with supervisor to maintain facilities schedule and appropriate room setup. Secures buildings after cleaning areas. Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff, which may include submitting or recommending work orders and checking supply levels. Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements. May assist with larger events and services as needed. Other duties as assignedExperience:
At least 5 years in facility maintenance, operations, or a related technical field.Valid Driver's License Certifications:
HVAC; Electrical; Plumbing (preferred but not required.)Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training.Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer service. Maintenance and light janitorial experienceJob Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands, talk, and hear. The employee is routinely required to stand for long periods of time. The employee is routinely required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. The employee must routinely lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus in order to construct reports and use a computer properly. Must pass a background check. Must have reliable transportation.Pay:
