This position is responsible for maintaining the hotel's guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests and team members. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and able to respond quickly to maintenance requests while completing preventive maintenance tasks with attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and hotel common areas Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, locks, and appliances Complete preventive maintenance schedules and inspections Maintain hotel exterior, parking lot, and grounds as needed Assist with painting, drywall, and general repairs Ensure compliance with hotel safety standards and company policies Keep maintenance shop organized and maintain inventory of tools and supplies Coordinate with management on larger repairs or vendor needs Be available for emergency maintenance issues when needed
Qualifications:
Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed Must be dependable and able to work independently
