In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of countertops, including granite, quartz, marble, and laminate, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Duties Measure and interpret dimensional measurements accurately to ensure precise countertop fitting according to blueprint specifications and construction plans Prepare work areas by removing old surfaces, setting up scaffolding or ladders safely, and organizing necessary hand tools and power tools for installation Install countertops using appropriate techniques, including cutting, caulking, sealing, and securing fixtures with hand tools and power tools Follow detailed construction plans and technical drawings to ensure proper alignment and adherence to design specifications Perform related tasks such as tile masonry, drywall finishing, plastering, stucco application, gutter installation, and fixture or cabinet installation as needed for remodeling projects Conduct construction inspections to verify quality standards are met throughout the installation process Maintain safety protocols on-site by using ladders properly and adhering to all safety guidelines during construction site activities Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on building material installation such as countertops, tile masonry, drywall, or flooring Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, tape measure proficiency, and other relevant equipment for precise installation tasks Knowledge of plumbing and electrical basics beneficial for fixture or appliance integration during remodeling projects Experience in construction management or estimating is a plus but not required Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle Ability to work safely at heights using ladders and scaffolding while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of installation Join us in creating stunning spaces by applying your construction expertise!
