Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician and become a vital contributor to our facility's operational excellence! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, HVAC units, and plumbing to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety compliance. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Repair or replace faulty components through welding, electrical work, or mechanical adjustments to restore equipment functionality swiftly. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control automated systems efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, parts inventory, and maintenance history. Conduct facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting, carpentry repairs, and general upkeep to keep the environment safe and welcoming. Supervise or assist with team members on maintenance projects, providing leadership and guidance to ensure timely completion of tasks. Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Support manufacturing operations by ensuring production equipment is operating at peak performance with minimal downtime. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with internal teams regarding maintenance schedules or issues that may affect operations. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with strong mechanical knowledge. Skilled in electrical troubleshooting with hands-on experience working with schematics and electrical components. Proficiency in operating programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and diagnostic tools like ohmmeters. Welding skills preferred for repairing metal components or structures. Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus for facility upkeep tasks. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately. Supervising experience is desirable for leadership roles within the maintenance team. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to perform facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC repairs, or carpentry work.
