1099 Independent Contractor About the Position We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to assist with the upkeep of our apartment properties in the New Port Richey area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a second job or supplemental income . Work will primarily be at one apartment building, with occasional maintenance assignments at our other nearby properties, generally within approximately 5 minutes of the primary property . The workload is generally steady and predictable, consisting primarily of routine maintenance and basic repairs, with approximately one unit turn per month . Responsibilities Perform routine property maintenance and inspections. Complete basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs. Prepare apartments for new residents and complete unit turns. Perform maintenance at the primary property and occasionally at nearby properties. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Communicate with management regarding maintenance needs and completed work. Make adjustments based on management feedback. Qualifications General maintenance or apartment/property maintenance experience preferred. Basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and repair skills. Able to work independently and complete tasks reliably. Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Reliable transportation required. Own maintenance tools preferred.
