As a Maintenance Engineer II, you will play a critical role in maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This position requires an individual who is highly skilled in general maintenance tasks and can act independently while analyzing and resolving specific problems. Responsibilities Inspect and perform regular maintenance on hotel equipment, HVAC systems, and electrical systems. Respond and attend to guest repair requests and ensure all work is carried out promptly while adhering to service standards. Assist in monitoring building systems and fire safety equipment to ensure compliance with current health and safety standards. Coordinate with various teams to discuss maintenance plans and activities necessary for the upkeep of the facilities. Keep a daily log of tasks, noting any completed repairs and identifying issues for future attention. Required Skills Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
