Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems, equipment, and appliances across our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards while providing excellent service to support our production processes. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Conduct appliance repair and appliance installation tasks efficiently to minimize operational disruptions. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference. Operate company vehicles responsibly for parts delivery or service calls as needed. Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing mechanical systems. Consistently maintain the property to include grass, edging and picking up trash. Skills Extensive mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC & refrigeration systems repair. Strong understanding of schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC/R technology. Proven experience with appliance repair, kitchen equipment maintenance, and equipment repair. Ability to operate maintenance tools safely and effectively; familiarity with MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) practices. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members or external vendors. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; strong mechanical aptitude essential for troubleshooting complex systems.
