Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and maintaining a safe, efficient environment. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, supporting our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about technical service, problem-solving, and hands-on maintenance work. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime. Repair or replace appliances such as refrigeration units, HVAC systems, air conditioning units, and kitchen equipment to maintain operational efficiency. Install new appliances and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for accountability and future reference. Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks, share technical knowledge, and uphold safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, HVAC & appliance technology essential for troubleshooting complex issues. Hands-on experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices across various mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to perform appliance installation and kitchen equipment maintenance efficiently. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair diverse equipment including air conditioning units and refrigeration systems. Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients or team members regarding repairs or system issues. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely in different environments. Leadership qualities that support teamwork, safety adherence, and continuous improvement in maintenance procedures.
