This position plays an important role in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, functionality, and appearance of our Clubhouse and facilities. Position Summary The Clubhouse Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance and preventive maintenance to help ensure the Clubhouse remains safe, clean, attractive, and operating efficiently for our members, guests, and team. Key Responsibilities Perform basic preventive maintenance and general repairs as needed. Safely use hand tools, power tools, maintenance equipment, trucks, and light motorized equipment. Assist with maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of the Clubhouse. Identify maintenance concerns and assist with resolving issues in a timely manner. Follow established safety practices and procedures. Respond appropriately to maintenance needs during emergency situations. Complete special projects and other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Manager. Help maintain the high standards expected throughout Piper's Landing Yacht & Country Club. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior handyman and/or marina experience preferred; 3-5 years of related experience desired . Strong mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment. Working knowledge of hand and power tools. Ability to learn and perform a variety of facility and community maintenance tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, safety-conscious, and service-oriented. Valid driver's license required. Schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Saturday rotations may be required as needed. Physical & Work Requirements This is an active, hands-on position that requires: Continuous standing and walking. Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling. Frequent repetitive motions. Working around moving mechanical equipment. Occasional work in wet, humid, hot, cold, or elevated environments. Potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, electrical hazards, and vibration. Use of appropriate personal protective equipment when required. Why Join Piper's Landing?
