Job Description
Summary The Maintenance Tech is a key maintenance team member will work with all departments within the plant to optimize machine & equipment up time, reliability, & product quality while controlling maintenance costs. Key Areas of Responsibility include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist in ensuring that all plant machinery is performing to specification to produce quality parts as efficiently as possible. Assist in performing preventive maintenance procedures to make plant maintenance proactive rather than reactive. Supports a data-driven approach to machine & equipment optimization through collection and research of machine & plant metrics. Willingness to utilize industry experience as well as best practices from other plants. Communicate effectively with Maintenance and Plant Managers Forklift repair experience a plus Promote and follow all plant and department safety rules Ensure all PPE is used at all times Assist in enforcing daily housekeeping and workplace cleanliness Carry out all additional duties as deemed necessary and assigned.
