Description Job Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and janitorial services of all property owned/leased buildings, as well as performing any necessary duties in those areas.
Your Responsibilities:
Performs minor carpentry and plumbing repairs to our buildings. Work well in a team or individual environment Repairs to drywall, replace light fixtures Assist with renovation projects Inspection and required maintenance to all playground equipment Clean kitchen including stoves, refrigerators and other appliances Clean bathrooms thoroughly and safely Collect trash from offices, pool area, events, and where needed. Sweep, mop, vacuum, wax and buff floors. Clean windows and doors. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals both orally and written.  Comply with all policies Pressure washing. Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
Must have graduated from an accredited high school or have a GED equivalent. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with individuals both written and orally. Have the ability to interact with non-employees and residents in a professional manner. Some knowledge of the tools and equipment used in custodial and general maintenance work. Must have at least a valid Florida Class "E" Driver License and must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Physical Requirements:
Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and 100 lbs. on a non-regular basis. Physical strength and ability to perform heavy manual labor required. Standing, sitting, walking, carrying, and occasional climbing. Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends. Must not have any uncontrolled allergies to common cleaning compounds or chemicals, grass, pollen, dust, etc.
Additional Information Schedule:
8 hours per day, 5 days per week including weekends (7:30AM- 3:30PM and 8:00AM-5:00PM) May be required to work during special events days Property specific perks (free access to gym, swimming pools)

Compensation:
$16.00
