Job Description
Job Overview Immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Technician in Ponce Inlet, FL for our 96-unit property. The maintenance technician is part of a team of 3, responsible for the quality completion of all maintenance tasks and projects. This position requires interaction with the Community Association Manager, owners, vendors, and guests. General Maintenance/Janitorial duties include but not limited to:
- General building and property maintenance
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing
- Landscaping
- Able to troubleshoot basic problems on equipment
- Knowledge of sprinkler systems.
- Inspect grounds for trash and debris and clean as needed.
- Paint and repair structures
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep property working and looking nice
- Observe and monitor cleanliness and upkeep of common property.
- Respond to emergencies in a professional manner.
- Keep Manager advised of janitorial and maintenance needs.
- Anticipate janitorial and maintenance problems.
Safety and Compliance Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel and bend for up to (6) hours per day.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to work in all kinds of weather.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver's License and insurance.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Pool Certification a plus, but not necessary.
