Job Description

The Yards is a premier outdoor sports and social destination in Ponte Vedra Beach, offering golf, tennis, pickleball, dining, and events. We are seeking a Facility Maintenance and Event Services Associate to support day-to-day upkeep of our facilities and assist with event set-up and breakdown. This position reports directly to the Facilities Manager and works closely with the Events Department to support external and internal Club events.
JOB DUTIES
: Perform daily and weekly facility maintenance tasks and respond promptly to work orders as assigned by the Facilities Manager. Maintain all interior and exterior Club areas, including patios, walkways, parking areas, and storage areas, in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs involving plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fixtures, furniture, and equipment. Report issues requiring specialized service to the Facilities Manager. Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance or safety concerns and assist with preventative maintenance and facility improvement projects. Assist contractors and vendors on property as directed by the Facilities Manager. Support the Events Department with event set-up and breakdown, including moving and arranging tables, chairs, equipment, décor, and other event materials. As needed, assist with general upkeep of Club grounds and landscaping, including trimming, painting, weeding, and debris removal. Maintain tools, equipment, maintenance supplies, and storage areas in an organized and secure manner and report needed supplies or repairs. Follow all Club safety policies and procedures and promptly report hazards, property damage, or equipment concerns. Maintain scheduling flexibility based on maintenance needs, special projects, and Club event schedules. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
:
  • Education:
    High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required; trade school preferred.
  • Experience:
    Preferred minimum of three years' experience in preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of related equipment and systems
  • May be required to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • This position requires mobility.
Compensation:
$18.00
  • $20.
00/hour based on experience
